Jessica's 1st Costume Party

My baby girl is growing up. Jessica got to go to her 1st constume / birthday party last Friday night. It just so happens that the party was for twin boys that are in her class. She got to go with her best friend and had a blast. Of course Phillip wasn't happy when he found out it was for twin boys much less just a boy. :-)

Balloon Festival

Man oh man I thought that everyone here was crazy to say that the balloon festival was something that was that great. It is one of the most spectacular things that we have ever seen. There are hundreds of balloons that are in the sky at the same time and they all landed in our neighborhood.

Of course it wouldn't be complete without Vader.

Below is a picture of the balloon that tragically hit power lines and caught on fire right next to the Walmart. Not sure if anyone survived.

Here are some pictures of all of the ballons that had landed behind our home.

Here is a balloon that landed on our street.

Zoo

We finally decided to get out and go do something as a family. I told the children that I wanted to get some good pictures of them at the zoo and none of them wanted to sit next to each other. So after Mommy and Daddy telling them they do not have a choice this is what happens...

So of course they are in big trouble now and if they want to see any more animals they have to make me happy and give me a good picture to show on the blog.....

There are so many pictures that I want to share with all of you. I am going to look into getting online somewhere that all of you can see all of the pictures that we are taking. Here are a few pictures that are our favorites from our adventure.

Phillip is just thrilled that the monkey touched his hand.

I don't think the putty cat liked getting his picture taken.

Planet Earth here I come....

We had decided to go into what they call the nocturnal part of the Zoo. Little did we know we would not be able to see anything. Needless to say James fell and hit his head. Phillip was asking me for my lighter and my answer was to take a picture with my new camera to see the damage. James looks so pathetic in this picture.

Yeah we made it thru the day with everyone still intact.
